Security exercise at the Iqaluit airport

On Thursday, September 10, at about 9:30 a.m., there will be a security exercise at the Iqaluit International Airport.

This exercise is to help prepare for a possible situation like a bomb threat, hijacking or hostage taking.

Please remember that this is only an exercise and not an emergency situation.

This exercise should not affect the regular flight schedule or construction of the new airport terminal and combined services building.

We apologize for any inconvenience this exercise may cause.
