Safe Sport Summit – Help eliminate harassment, abuse and discrimination!

The Department of Community and Government Services, Sport and Recreation Division is collaborating with the Coaching Association of Canada to host a Safe Sport Summit on April 11, 2019, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Iqaluit Aquatic Centre boardroom.

This summit is part of a Safe Sport Summit Series being held across Canada to help eliminate abuse, harassment and discrimination in Sport. Participants will contribute to the development of a pan-Canadian code of conduct by discussing the challenges and threats that come with implementing one.

We invite athletes, coaches, officials, parents, sport organizations, municipal recreation representatives, and volunteers who contribute to safe sport to participate.

Please RSVP by March 27, 2019 by emailing @email. Registration is free and refreshments will be provided.
