Possible Fuel service delays due to Arviat diesel airlift

Please note that the Petroleum Products Division (PPD) of the Department of Community and Government Services (CGS) is coordinating an airlift of diesel fuel from Rankin Inlet to Arviat during the month of May.

The airlift will require 45 to 50 chartered flights to transport a total of approximately 400,000 litres of diesel fuel to Arviat during the period of May 6 to May 15.

Please be aware that regular diesel fuel services in Arviat may be interrupted during this time.
