GN and NEU ratify a new collective agreement

Iqaluit, Nunavut (July 12, 2022) – The Government of Nunavut (GN) is pleased to report that the Nunavut Employees Union and the GN have ratified a new collective agreement on July 11, 2022. The terms of the new agreement come into effect immediately. The new agreement expires on September 30, 2024.

“I congratulate the Nunavut Employees Union and look forward to continuing the good work achieved through bargaining and continued cooperation as we move forward”, said Minister of Human Resources Margaret Nakashuk.

A formal signing ceremony is to follow, at which point more details will be provided.
