Fuel Tax Rebate Program cancelled

The Government of Nunavut has cancelled its Fuel Tax Rebate Program, as of May 14, 2018.

Any eligible petroleum products purchased or brought into Nunavut, and used before May 14, 2018, must be claimed within one year of purchase. To be eligible for the rebate, the petroleum products must have been taxed under the Petroleum Products Tax Act. Please call 1-800-316-3324, email @email or visit www.gov.nu.ca/finance/information/fuel-tax-rebate-program for an application form.

The Government of Nunavut continues to support active harvesters through the Department of Environment’s enhanced Harvester Support programs. Mineral exploration companies will be able to access the Department of Economic Development and Transportation’s new Community Engagement Support Program for mineral exploration that will be rolled out later this year.
