Food recalls due to Listeria
The Department of Health is warning about a food recall issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Eat Smart is recalling various Chopped Salad Kits from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.
This recalled product should be thrown out or returned to the location where it was purchased.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include fever, muscle aches, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, stomach pain, a stiff neck or a bad headache. If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, please see your healthcare provider.
