Food recall on certain Sabra brand hummus products

The Department of Health is warning about a food recall on certain Sabra brand hummus products due to possible contamination with the bacteria Listeria monocytogenes.

Listeria symptoms include vomiting, nausea, fever, muscle aches, severe headaches and neck stiffness. Most people do not need to see a health care provider because they get better quickly. But high risk groups, like pregnant women, Elders and people with weakened immune systems, should see a health care provider if they have these symptoms.

All recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.
