FANS proof of enrollment for winter semester

Last updated Friday, January 5, 2024

A reminder to Financial Assistance for Nunavut Students (FANS) recipients returning to classes in the new year to submit their proof of enrollment for the winter semester. Proof of enrollment is required to continue receiving payments and to receive your winter tuition funds at the start of your semester.

If you are studying at an institution other than the Nunavut Arctic College (NAC), students are required to submit their FANS Student Enrollment Form (SEF) to the FANS office.

Students studying at NAC are reminded of the new Enrolment Verification (EV) form. The EV form, along with instructional guides, can be accessed from the Student Self-Service Portal.

SEFs and EVs can be emailed to:

  • @email (Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement), or
  • @email (students not enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement).

If you submit your SEF or EV and decide that you do not want to return for the winter semester, please contact FANS as soon as possible to cancel your winter funding. Failure to do so may result in owing funds back to FANS.
