Employment and training - call for proposals

The Department of Family Services is now accepting proposals for targeted employment and training initiatives to be delivered in any community in Nunavut within the 2020-21 fiscal year, starting April 1, 2020.

Training providers, including non-profit organizations and institutions, municipal corporations, Inuit organizations and societies, can apply for funding to deliver programs in the following areas:

  • training and employment programs for persons living with a disability;
  • training and employment programs for out-of-school youth aged 15-30;
  • essential skills;
  • sector-specific training; and
  • employment readiness and preparation.

The application deadline is March 20, 2020.
