Dogs must be leashed at Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park

Start Date: August 4, 2015

End Date: August 31, 2015

Iqaluit, NU 30 sec

The Department of Environment is reminding the public that, within the boundaries of Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park, dogs must be on a leash at all times.

For public safety reasons, and to ensure that everyone can enjoy using the park, the leash should be of a length that allows the dog to be kept under direct physical control.

Finally, as a courtesy to other park users, dog owners are also asked to clean up after their dogs.
