Department of Justice accepting applications for victims’ assistance funding

The Department of Justice is accepting applications from individuals, organizations and institutions for victims’ assistance funding. You may be eligible for funding if your proposed project offers:

  • Training geared to frontline service providers on the needs and concerns of victims of crime;
  • Direct services that help victims through crisis response, follow-up assistance, information and referrals; or
  • Public awareness on the rights and responsibilities of victims, available services, the criminal justice system and its procedures, and any issues relating to victims of crime.

Other ideas may also be considered.

For more information and application forms, please contact Amanda McLaughlin, victims’ services coordinator at 867-975-6308 or @email

The deadline for application is Friday, September 30, 2016 at 5 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time).
