COVID-19 isolation measures lifted at Gjoa Haven Continuing Care Centre

The Gjoa Haven Continuing Care Centre has lifted its COVID-19 isolation measures as all eight residents have recovered from COVID-19.

Visitation has resumed and the facility is also operating under standard Infection Prevention and Control guidelines including, but not limited to, strict screening of all individuals upon arrival to the continuing care centre and all staff and visitors must continue to wear masks.

All staff members previously infected with COVID-19 have recovered and currently no additional staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

There were no hospitalizations.
