Celebrate safely: don’t drink and drive

Celebrate safely this holiday season. If you drink, don’t drive! Decide ahead of time how to get home safely: take a taxi, designate a responsible driver, or find another safe way home.

The Nunavut Liquor Commission will be passing out taxi coupons in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay during the holiday season. Look for these at licensed establishments, special events and RCMP check stops.

This initiative, which is made possible thanks to the support of sponsors, fits in very well with Let’s Be Aware / Ujjiqsuqta, the GN’s responsible use of alcohol campaign to help reduce the harms related to alcohol across the territory.
