Celebrate safely: don’t drink and drive

Celebrate safely this holiday season.
If you choose to drink, don't drive. It's never worth the risk to yourself or others.
If you go out, decide ahead of time how to get home safely: take a taxi, designate a responsible driver, or find another safe way home.
The Government of Nunavut (GN) and the Nunavut Liquor Commission, with the support of sponsors, will be passing out taxi coupons in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay during December. Look for these at licensed establishments, special events and RCMP check stops.
This initiative is part of the GN’s work to help reduce the harms related to alcohol across the territory.
