Call for proposals – Women’s Initiatives and Men and Boy’s Initiatives Grant Program

The Department of Family Services is now accepting proposals for community-based projects that promote women’s empowerment and that provide services and programs for men and boys in Nunavut to be delivered in the 2021-22 fiscal year, starting any time after April 1, 2021.

Community-based, non-profit organizations, municipal corporations or individuals may apply for funding to deliver projects under the following categories:

  • Leadership skills.
  • Employment.
  • Economic self-sufficiency.
  • Wellness.
  • Self-reliance.
  • Traditional knowledge.

Applicants must provide proof of current standing with Nunavut Legal Registries, if applicable. Program eligibility guidelines and applications can be found at: http://www.gov.nu.ca/family-services.
The application deadline is March 22, 2021.
