Beware of Arctic Winter Games Scam

The Government of Nunavut would like to bring attention to recent scam reports circulating through social media, following the start of the 2023 Arctic Winter Games (AWG) on January 29.

These fraudulent websites claim to give streaming access of the AWG games for a fee and ask individuals to enter sensitive information, such as your credit card number.

We would like to ensure Nunavummiut are accessing the correct websites to view these games safely. You can watch the games for free on the AWG website, at AWG2023.live or on the AWG YouTube channel.
