Wolf in the Iqaluit area

Please be aware that a wolf has been seen near Iqaluit over the past few days.

Wolf attacks on humans are rare, but you should be careful when walking outside at night. Do not leave your pets or pet food unattended outside.

If you see a wolf, report it to your wildlife office immediately.
