Proposed fuel stabilization rider refund

The Utility Rates Review Council (URRC) is recommending changes to the fuel stabilization rider refund of 5.41 cents per kWh from October 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, based on a request from the Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC).

In an effort to maintain rate stability, this refund will be on an interim basis, pending a full review. QEC fuel stabilization riders are automatically applied to monthly power bills and customers do not need to fill out an application form.

Submissions about the fuel stabilization rider can be sent by email to @email or by mail to the Executive Director for the URRC, P.O. Box 1000, Station 200, Iqaluit, NU X0A 0H0. Deadline for submissions is October 13, 2017 at 5 p.m. EST.
