Launch of Family Services NU mobile app

A new mobile app has been launched by Qaujigiartiit Health Research Centre (QHRC), with support from the Department of Family Services, to assist members of Nunavut’s family services workforce.

The app provides its users information about working and communicating in a multi-lingual environment, organization of the family service system, the Inuit historical context of Nunavut, values and expectations in the family service setting, as well as community-specific information.

This new app builds on the success of the Health NU app, launched in 2017, which provides similar support to short-term healthcare providers.

Family Services NU is now available for download from the App Store, for Apple iOS devices, or on the Google Play Store, for Android devices.
