Iqaluit community cleanup 2020
Iqaluit’s 2020 community cleanup will take place on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Bags and gloves will be available at different stations around the city. This year, participants are reminded to social distance while taking part in cleanup activities.

There will be a cleanup in every community on a date that is suitable, depending on snow cover. Government of Nunavut employees can contact their local hamlet or Department of Environment staff for information about their community cleanup.
The Department of Environment is also pleased to announce the Community Cleanup logo design competition winners, whose images will be featured on this year’s T-shirt:
- Panigusiq Obed of Iqaluit.
- Eunice Kalluk of Resolute Bay.
Each winner will receive an iPad to celebrate their winning submission.
