The Department of Health encourages everyone to get their flu vaccine. It’s never too late to get your flu shot. It is free at your local health centre. FluMist, a nasal spray influenza vaccine, is available for children aged 2 to 17.

In Iqaluit, people can get their flu vaccine at public health from Monday to Friday. The clinics are open from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Evening and weekend clinics are at public health on:

  • Friday, November 6, 5–6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 7, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Monday, November 9, 5–6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 10, 5–6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 12, 5–6:30 p.m.
  • Friday, November 13, 5-6:30 p.m.
