Drinking water in Resolute Bay

The Department of Health, in cooperation with Community and Government Services (CGS), is advising residents of Resolute Bay that it is working on the odour issue with the drinking water supply.

This issue is an annual occurrence in the drinking water. It appears to be limited to the utilidor system. The odour has not been detected in the trucked water system. Continual monitoring and sampling of the system is ongoing. CGS and the Department of Health are working together to solve the issue.
