Prevent the Spread of Avian Influenza in Wild Birds

Avian influenza (HPAI) virus has been detected in wild birds in Canada, including migratory birds.  As of May 12, 2022, there has been no reports of HPAI in Nunavut. However, with spring migration underway, it is important for northern residents to be aware of this issue and watchful for birds with symptoms.
