Sections

The NNI Secretariat is a division of the Department of Economic Development and Transportation. The secretariat oversees the implementation and long term development of the NNI.

The NNI is the Government of Nunavut's preferential procurement policy. It serves the dual goals of fulfilling the government's obligations under Article 24 of the Nunavut Agreement to incentivize Inuit businesses and labour, and building Nunavut's economy through preferences for Inuit Businesses. The NNI Regulations also provide for preferences for local and Nunavut based business and labour.

You can also look up Nunavut-based businesses on the NNI website at https://nni.gov.nu.ca/.
