Budget Analyst

This employment opportunity is only open to Government of Nunavut Employees.

The newly created Department of Human Resources came into force April 1, 2019 and we are looking to recruit a Budget Analyst to join our team.  Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, this position provides a wide range of financial management services to the department including the preparation of Main Estimates, Capital Estimates, expenditure forecasts, business cases, Financial Management Board submissions, and assisting in the preparation of the annual Business Plan.

Family Resource Worker

This is a Highly Sensitive Position and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, along with a clear Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

As per HRM Directive 518, this employment opportunity is restricted to Nunavut Inuit only.

Reporting to the Supervisor Children and Family Services, the Family Resource Worker will work as a support to the Family Services office in close concert with the Community Social Service Worker and other community resources to coordinate prevention programs for families, children, youth, elders and the community as a whole.

Editor/Reviewer

This employment opportunity is open to all applicants.

Reporting to the Senior Interpreter/Translator, the Editor/Reviewer proofreads, edits and reviews Inuinnaqtun translations for the departments of the Government of Nunavut and public agencies. Government translations must be provided using Inuinnaqtun of the highest quality and in standardized orthography as this has a fundamental impact on the Government’s ability to deliver programs and services that are relevant, accessible, and accountable to the public it serves.
