Human Resources Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing advice, guidance and support to all staff within the Department of Culture and Heritage(C&H) and Inuit Uqausinginnik Taiguusiliuqtiit (IUT) through the effective delivery of staffing and recruitment, Inuit employment, employee orientation, performance management initiatives, training and development, employee relations, and human resources reporting.

Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the Regional Manager of Compensation & Benefits is accountable for the management  of the professional staff who provide payroll and  compensation  services to Government of Nunavut employees in the Qikiqtaaluk region in accordance with the provisions of the two Collective Agreements, the Nunavut Public Service Act and associated Regulations and  Directives, employee handbooks and the technical requirements of the GN’s payroll system.
