Professional development framework for the educator community

The Nunavut Professional Development Framework for the Educator Community is for teachers of all subjects, language specialists, principals, vice-principals, learning coaches, and student support teachers in every school. It provides guidance and support tailored to each of these important functions within our schools by illustrating the required skills, values, and behaviours for effective teaching, coaching, and leadership, described throughout the stages of development for each of these groups. These expectations, when combined with self-reflection and constructive feedback, help raise awareness of practice areas to focus on and the benefits of continuous professional development.
