Call for Foster Parents in Nunavut

Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child or youth?

The Department of Family Services is looking for foster parents in Nunavut. As a foster parent you can make a difference by:

  • supporting children and their families get through difficult times;
  • helping meet a child’s development needs;
  • promoting healthy families in your community, and
  • being part of a team protecting and nurturing children.

Nunavummiut interested in becoming a foster parent must complete a Foster Parent Application, that can be found at local Family Services offices and submit it to a Community Social Services Worker (CSSW). Nunavummiut interested in applying can also apply in person with the help of a CSSW.
