Legalization of edible cannabis, extracts and topicals

The Nunavut Liquor and Cannabis Commission (NULC) advises Nunavummiut that as of October 17, 2019, edible cannabis, cannabis extracts and cannabis topicals will be legal.

Due to Health Canada’s approval process, these new cannabis products will not be available for legal purchase in Canada until mid-December 2019 at the earliest.

The NULC also reminds Nunavummiut that legal cannabis can be bought from licensed vendors at www.tweed.com and www.verticalcannabis.ca.
