Senior Instructor, Cooking Programs

This is a Highly Sensitive Position and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required.

Reporting to the Chair, Industry Training the Senior Instructor, Cooking Program is responsible for management of cooking programs staff and for all aspects in the delivery of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship cook programs.  Organizational responsibilities include for the administration of base funded 3rd party cooking programming, overseeing the budgeting and financial aspects, and for providing the accountability of the various programs accordingly.

Psychiatric Nurse

This position provides expert mental health, addictions and concurrent disorder services to clients, families and the community, who have experienced several generations of cultural, emotional and physical trauma.  This position requires a strong background in Psychiatric Nursing, usually through at 3-5 years of relevant experience.  

The incumbent also collaborates with physicians, specialists, social services, RCMP, Homeless shelter, Women’s shelter, Community organizations, and other Government of Nunavut Departments such as Housing, Justice, Education and Income Support.

Water Treatment Operator

This is a Highly Sensitive Position and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, along with a clear Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

The incumbent will have the primary technical, operational and maintenance responsibility for the complex water/sewer treatment and piped water/sewer distribution system for Rankin Inlet and to ensure the water is safe and system is operated as energy efficiently as possible.
