Youth Mental Health Specialist

Reporting to the Territorial Director, Mental Health and Addictions, the Youth Mental Health Specialist is responsible for providing leadership regarding how the Mental Health and Addictions Division engages with all relevant stakeholders in the development, delivery of quality, evidence-based, culturally-informed mental health promotions, prevention, early intervention, and support services for children and youth across the Territory, including substance abuse and suicide prevention.  

Research Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Poverty Reduction, the Research Analyst is a member of the Nunavut Poverty Reduction team. The Research Analyst will undertake and oversee the research projects (both desk and field based) on poverty, examining its causes and effects, and the policy measures available to reduce it. The incumbent will provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to contribute to the development and implementation of the Nunavut Poverty Reduction Action Plan.

Registration Clerk

This is a Highly Sensitive Position and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, along with a clear Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

As per HRM Directive 518, this employment opportunity is restricted to Nunavut Inuit.

Reporting to the Registration Supervisor, the Registration Clerk is the first point of contact for new and existing patients. The incumbent will register patients using a computerized system, verifying accuracy of all patient information, and providing information to patients and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
