Advisor Community Development

This employment opportunity is open to all applicants.

Reporting to the Manager, Community Economic Development, as a member of the Community Economic Development Support Team, the Advisor Community Development provides support and guidance to ensure that communities have the necessary resources to prepare and implement community based plans leading to economic viability and local control of the sustainable development process.

Relief Correctional Caseworker

This is a Highly Sensitive Position and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, along with a clear Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

The Department of Justice in the Corrections Division plays a leading role in the criminal justice system by protecting the community through offender management and control. The Nunavut Women’s Correctional Centre provides custodial supervision for female adults sentenced to incarceration of less than two years.


Requires an acceptable criminial record check and vulnerable sector check

This position provides janitorial duties, security, as well as routine building, equipment, and vehicle maintenance.  The Caretaker provides general assistance to the Health Centre such as interpreting as needed and courier to ensure it is kept running smoothly.  Functions as a member of the Health Care Team.
