Celebrate safely: Don’t Drive Impaired

Celebrate safely this holiday season. If you drink alcohol or consume cannabis, don’t drive! Decide ahead of time how to get home safely: take a taxi, designate a responsible driver, or find another safe way home.

The Nunavut Liquor and Cannabis Commission (NULC) in cooperation with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Department of Justice will be offering taxi coupons in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay during the holiday season. Look for these at licensed establishments and RCMP check stops.

In Iqaluit and Rankin Inlet, taxi coupons will also be distributed at NULC stores.
