It is the licence holder’s responsibility to make themselves aware of the approval requirements for certain actions or operations.
Some common actions that require Nunavut Liquor Licencing Board or executive secretary approval include:
- temporary changes to licensed hours
- purchase of liquor by licence holders from a provider other than a liquor warehouse
- structural alterations or additions to licensed premises
