Income Assistance Returning to Regular Assessments in April 2022

In April, Income Assistance will return to the regular, full assessment and verification processes in all communities.

Appointments are required. Please contact your Income Assistance Worker (IAW) for an appointment time if you do not already have one. They will advise if you will be assessed over the phone or in person.

If you need to schedule an appointment and do not have access to a phone, please visit the Income Assistance office and you will be provided an appointment time. Due to Public Health measures there will be only one person allowed into the Income Assistance office at a time.

It is important to provide information on all your sources of income. You will need your identification, paystub, bank statements and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) information. Please have your 2019 or 2020 Income Tax return ready so you can use this to access your CRA My Account. Your IAW will not be able to process your assessment without all the documentation.
