Child Protection
Everyone has a duty to report incidents of child abuse and neglect to Family Wellness Division by calling your local family services office and speaking with Community Social Services Worker.
When concerned about the safety and wellbeing of the child and/or youth, call your local Community Social Services Worker.
If you are a child being abused contact Community Social Services Worker or speak with an adult (Elder, relative, teacher, nurse, police officer).

Emergency Shelters and Safe Homes:
Everyone is responsible for protecting children. Contact your Community Social Services Worker for assistance and support in ensuring children are safe from abuse and neglect.
Children and family services are regulated under the Children and Family Services Act.
