Parks Day 2017

Step away from your computer, television and smart phone to spend a day exploring and enjoying all that Nunavut’s outstanding parks have to offer! Celebrate Parks Day in Iqaluit at Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park on Saturday July 15, 2017.

The celebrations start at 11 a.m., and include music, learning activities and a barbecue. Free shuttle buses are available between Iqaluit and the park. Event and bus schedules can be found on the Department of Environment’s website at, or on the Nunavut Parks website at
