I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards our Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Michael Patterson, and his health team for their tireless efforts to keep Nunavut safe during the COVID-19 pandemic in the past two years.
Effective Monday March 29, travel in and out of Arviat will no longer require approval from the CPHO travel team. However, people still under isolation for exposure to COVID-19 are not allowed to travel until their isolation period is complete.
