Aiming for financial wellness in 2025

Last updated Tuesday, January 7, 2025

The Department of Community and Government Services’ Consumer Affairs division extends New Year greetings to all Nunavummiut!

Begin the new year on a positive note by striving to attain financial wellness and enhance your financial wellbeing. Achieving and maintaining financial stability requires careful planning, budgeting, and monitoring. Spend time making financial goals, sticking to your spending plan, and keeping track of your transactions.

Financial planning can feel overwhelming, and it is completely okay. Everyone starts somewhere and the new year is the perfect time to kickstart and advance your financial education journey.

If you're unsure about how to take the first or next steps, consider conducting your own research, seeking professional financial advice, and/or contacting the Nunavut Consumer Affairs Office for additional information and resources.
