Overview
Consumer Affairs is responsible for consumer awareness and protection in Nunavut.
The unit assists Nunavut communities and members of the general public in areas of consumer services by receiving, assisting and mediating consumer complaints or concerns Nunavummiut face in the marketplace.

- The Consumer Complaint Form is available for consumers who wish to file a consumer complaint on a business or merchant. Consumers are advised to submit a written complaint when forwarding their concerns.

Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan
The Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP) is a national arbitration program that helps consumers resolve disputes with a vehicle manufacturer. CAMVAP helps address consumer issues pertaining to vehicle defects and warranty disputes for current vehicles or four previous model years.
