Financial Assistance for Nunavut Students (FANS) Winter Semester Application Deadlines

Need support in reaching your post-secondary education goals?

Financial Assistance for Nunavut Students (FANS) provides financial help to eligible Nunavummiut attending designated post-secondary institutions and academic programs.

If you are planning on attending an eligible full-time college or university program that starts in January 2021, please submit your application for funding by November 15, 2020.

Applications can be made before being accepted to a college or university program.

If you are a student currently enrolled in the fall semester who is already receiving FANS funding, you do not need to re-apply for funding for the winter semester.

To apply, submit your winter semester Student Enrollment Form (SEF) to fans@gov.nu.ca or, if you have a loan, submit your signed loan agreement and SEF to fansloans@gov.nu.ca. The FANS office will accept winter semester SEFs starting December 1, 2020.
