Grants and Contributions Program Public Presentation in Naujaat

The Department of Culture and Heritage invites Naujaat community members to a public presentation about accessing funding through its Grants and Contributions program on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in the Tuugaalik High School gymnasium at 6:00 p.m.

Every year the Department of Culture and Heritage provides funding for community-lead projects and initiatives in the following areas: 

• Preserving and promoting Nunavut’s cultural legacy;
• Support for Elders and youth activities;
• Maintaining and sharing Inuit societal values; and
• Language promotion, protection and preservation.

This presentation is free and open to all members of the public. Inuktitut interpretation will be available, and refreshments will be provided. Culture and Heritage staff members will share information and answer questions about the programs.
