Prohibited Debt Collection Practices
The Department of Community and Government Services’ Consumer Affairs division would like to remind Nunavummiut and debt collection agencies that debt collection is prohibited on statutory holidays, on Sundays before 1 p.m. and after 5 p.m., and any other day between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.
