Retirement Awards Program

On the occasion of employee retirement, the Government of Nunavut honours and celebrates the commitment and dedication of employees retiring from the Public Service. Government of Nunavut employee service and any continuous employment for former Government of Northwest Territories employees, employed by the Government of Nunavut April 1, 1999, will be credited to dertermine employee entitlement.

The Department of Human Resources and the retiree’s Department together, ensure that retirement award entitlements are assessed in accordance with the established guidelines.
