Reminder for Nunavut Land Claim Beneficiaries

The Government of Nunavut is committed to creating a public service that is representative of the population it serves. Nunavut Land Claim Beneficiaries who qualify will be given priority over other applicants for all job competitions.

Effective January 2, 2001 Land Claim Beneficiaries who wish to receive consideration under the Priority Hiring Policy are encouraged to identify eligibility when they apply for any Government of Nunavut employment opportunity.

"Land Claim Beneficiaries" are those persons who are enrolled as beneficiaries under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement, which is administered by Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated.
