Policy, Planning and Legislation (PPL) coordinates policy and legislation development, provides advice on policy and strategic direction to the Directorate as required, and leads departmental planning initiatives.
PPL works to ensure effective communications within the department, the GN, and with Nunavummiut and ensures that Inuit Qaujimajangit is incorporated into all department activities.
PPL oversees compliance activities for the Department, particularly in the areas of wildlife management and environmental protection.
